I have baby (well, teenaged) bluebirds on my front porch.

Edited to add: I should clarify that I don't have a nest on my front porch, they are fully fledged juveniles who just stop by and harass each other. If I get a photo I will try to figure out how to reduce it for my blog.

I finished getting the garden in this weekend. It is all in pots because the ground here wouldn't grow tumbleweeds. Also it is covered in chicken wire to keep the deer from devouring it. I've got three different varieties of heirloom tomatoes and a new variety of sweet pepper. I have not had much luck with peppers, we'll see how this one does.

When my friend John said lets go on a trail ride Sunday, I didn't realize it was 20 miles of rough mountain trails. Nine hours later, I am exhausted and everything hurts. I did get to see a bunch of elk, moose sign, grizzly sign, and lots of gorgeous country that I wouldn't get to see any other way. I think I'll go lie down...

Today was a good day. I went to a power yoga class, went on a trail ride (equine type), and finished making some tomahawks. After dinner I smoked my pipe and drank some scotch on a lovely calm evening. Life is not tooo bad.

The vultures have returned to Cody; its officially Spring!

I couldn't get onto SG all day yesterday. Its amazing how much I got done.

I took a power yoga class yesterday morning. Got my ass kicked by little old ladies (well, one anyway).

I just love this, and anything with Rosie Flores.

This is pretty good too.

After several gorgeous days during the week, it is now snowing like a sonumbitch. At least its not very cold, much more like a spring snow (yes we get most of our snow in March and April).

Next Saturday, Jalan Crossland brings his twisted Wyoming country music to Cody.

Blueberry scones and coffee for breakfast, Antelope Bourguinon simmmering in the oven for dinner (thank you, Julia Child) Life is not too bad.

The house is surrounded by fog and frost. Its not much like the usual view, but it has its own charm.
