I looked all over the web, and sadly, I could not find an image of my favorite Serrano photo to share with you. Unfortunately, most everything I found was "Piss Christ" or others from that series. Don't get me wrong - they are amazing images - it's just that he's so much more than that. The image I was thinking of was that of church doors - the handles chained and locked together. The way the image was cropped, all you could see was the red seam where the doors met, the red horizontal line behind the handles and the chain. At first glance, it was a crucifix under lock and chain. Genius!
