Apparently the roads have been gritted this morning, the fact that there is no evidence of this is completely coincidental because according to the file of the woman at the road service they have been done, she assured me of this right before she hung up on me. It kinda makes you wonder what exactly we pay our rates for, I once believed that it was for refuse collection and road maintenence.....seems in the Uk that is no longer the case. Think my money would be best spent on lingerie and shoes......hmmm wonder if the council would see it that way.
