There's a Zen koan (philosophical riddle) "What is the sound of one hand clapping?" It's intended to stump you and stop your mind from babbling really. But if you think about it... the sound of one hand clapping is someone jacking off.
And that does stop the mind from babbling for a little bit.
And everyone knows the saying " He who lives by the sword dies by the sword" I think most people take that to mean that living by the sword ....or using it at all is a bad thing. But think about it, of course if you live by the sword day in and day out, it's just the law of percentages that your going to die by it. The trick is to use the sword judiciously. And take time to smell the Roses.
