I've been reading some great poems in blogs today and it inspired me to share one of my own.
One cannot catch the Sun
No matter how fast you run
For even if you did
You would be undone
It rises in the East
Sets in the West
In the time, on the path
That suits it best
You can love it, behold it,
Bask in its glow
Feel grateful for its presence
Down here below
One cannot catch the Sun
It doesn't seem right
So I await its arrival
In the dark of the night.
