I Hate School Part A Bajillion
The girls and I have discovered the new time clock at school is stealing our minutes.
EX 1: If I clock in at 5:31:42 and clock out at 9:31:41, I only get 3.99 hrs instead of 4 EVEN when it rounds it to 5:31-9:31.
EX 2: I clocked in at 4:30 exactly (because we are not allowed to clock in a minute sooner when we volunteer for the early hr) on Wednesday. I clocked out at at 9:31/32ish. When I checked my hrs last night, it showed me that I clocked in at 4:32 and only gave me 4.98 hrs instead of the full 5 hrs that I was there for. Two other girls also clocked in at 4:30 (we were all watching the clock) and they are also missing a minute or two.
One of the girls is supposed to graduate next week. She was supposed to graduate on Friday. Now she has to come in that following Monday for at least an hr to make the time the clock has stolen from her. Same for me. I was supposed to graduate on July 13th but at this rate it will probably be the 14th or the 15th.
"Well, Dru. Why don't you and the girls get together and petition that shitty thing?" Good question.
We tried. The Board of DIrector flat out refuses to listen to us saying the time clock is accurate, that's the way our hrs are so deal with it.
I told the girls that we should all start clocking in at 4:25 or so just so we WILL get our full hrs.
