Banks make billions from overdraft fees
John brought this to my attention yesterday. I was kind of irritated with the numerous "Learn to manage your own money!" comments.
If I overdraft because I was dumb and wasn't watching my money, I'm not going to bitch about overdraft fees because it was my fault. However, if I have $100 left in my account and everything has already been PROCESSED, I don't use my card for a week and then I get overdraft fee notices because the bank (of america) has decided to put the already PROCESSED transactions in the week I didn't use my card causing me to overdraft, THEN I have the right to bitch!

Thats why I am going to jusdt keep a little money in my account and use it only when absolutely needed now, and just live on cash, that way I dont have to worry about it.
