spent the weekend in detroit--it is really a fun city! among the highlights was getting my hair cut for $7 by a cute girl with a dog in a bar. the place was called the bronx, and it is now one of my all-time favorite watering holes. as for my stylist, she was hands down SG material. hmm, i wonder if she was one...

so i got myself a new winter coat. it's an air force issue parka in navy blue; think a bomber jacket that's 3/4 length and has a (synthetic) fur trim hood. i'm pretty excited about it because it's hella warm without being bulky, and it looks good!
