I feel like none of you really know much about me and I think we should fix that. So I'll answer any questions you have for me. It doesn't matter what the questions are about either. No matter how personal or bizarre the question may be I will do my best to answer it honestly. So just message me any questions you have or leave them as a comment.

I have an essay in mind that explains a whole bunch of stuff about me as a person. It's going to touch on some possibly touchy subjects and possibly make me look bad, but I think it will be worth it in the end. It will help me come to terms with who I have been, who I am now, and who I am becoming. I don't have time to write it right now, but keep an eye out for it... all 6 or so of you who actually care enough or are bored enough to actually read my inane excuse for a blog.

My name is Darren a.k.a. Drrn, Waffleby, and Drone.
I was born in northwestern New Jersey.
I love New Jersey more than almost any other place on Earth.
I'm 1/2 Dutch, 1/4 Scottish, 1/4 Welsh, and 1/4 Irish.
I have 9.8 fingers due to an unfortunate incident involving a printing press.
I'm currently a graphic design student at George Mason University.
I suffer from mild to moderate depression and have been working on bettering my self-image.
I write poetry. I compose music. I (used to) do vector art. I take photographs.
I'm thoroughly addicted to the internet, especially SG, MySpace, Facebook, and Meez.
I'm in love with a girl in New York City who I met over the internet. (Go ahead, laugh.)
I'm also quite fond of a friend of mine who I flatter enough that she tells me to stop.
I love penguins, bears, whales, and cephalopods (cuttlefish in particular).
I'm thinking about becoming a vegetarian, but I'm not sure I have the willpower or patience.
I apparently creep some people out and then they ignore me and don't give me any explanation. *coughDotcough*
I hate being alone more than almost anything else.
I wish I knew more of the Suicide Girls in real life because a lot of them seem like genuinely nice, interesting people.
I'm a pirate. I'm a collector. Both are compulsive and I think they stem from the same place.
I shout really inappropriate things (ie. Nazi slogans and racial slurs) in public that I don't mean at all and wish I could stop doing. I've been doing my best to stop because I don't want people to hate me or think I'm a racist because I'm not.
I think Nazis and Neo-Nazis are a disgrace to white people everywhere.
I ramble a lot because of the medication I take for my ADD.



Answers to Your Questions:
What do you find the most annoying social norm that people do?
The idea that everybody deserves respect. I personally think respect is something that should be earned.

What's the worst thing you've ever done or ashamed of?
I haven't done anything particularly bad that I can think of... I guess I'll go with my complete lack of remorse for piracy. That or getting drunk and telling a girl who I hadn't seen in months that I had a crush on her and had for over a year. Not ashamed of it per se, just embarrassed.
