So I took a girl to see Built To Spill last night. The show was good but there was a weird little moment with my date. At one point I said something like, "Wow, live music is so great. It can make you feel like you're high or drunk almost".
Then she says, "Well, I think you are intoxicating."
And I respond, "No, no, I've only had one beer I'm totally fine."
Her, "Oh, uh, no, I think you are intoxicating."
Me, "Ya, look Caruso, drop the crime scene investigation I'm dead sober, honestly."
She then gives me a funny look and changes the subject. Seriously though, sometimes I think people just don't listen to me.
