That's my sister and I standing in front the school that we went to in 1971-72, Wilbur Avenue Elementary in Tarzana.

What is the significance? Well, none, really, except that we both went there at the same time as Susan Olsen...that's right, CINDY from THE BRADY BUNCH. We didn't know her cause she was several years ahead of us, but we saw her all the time. And yeah, she actually did wear her hair in those curls.

Well, we saw Dr. Demento last January at his alma mater, Reed College in Portland; he goes back there every few years to do music and video presentations of some of his wackiest stuff. He signed one his LPs for me. I babbled something about his shows getting me through adolescence back in the 70's. He's a really sweet guy. Completely demented, of course.

I met the cigarette smoking man from the X-Files. He laughed at a joke I made.

So, my mom doesn't like that my waist is 21" instead of 28".
