Tomorrow morning marks an exciting day in my career. A landmark occasion, it's my first official wedding as a photographer! I'm so excited to finally do one of my own. I've worked on tons of them at my old job - editing the pictures, putting the albums together, making video slideshows, etc, but tomorrow marks the first official wedding for me, and for Dream Into Design as a business. We've got a guest videographer ready to go as well - going to capture all those special moments and incorporate some video along with stills in a video for the portfolio, and try to drum up some business. As it's our first shoot, it's Pro Bono - I'm doing it as a gift, since I've known the groom since high school and he's a great guy. We've got two more weddings confirmed - July 9th, and July 16th, and those will be paid for and generate extra income for business materials, extra savings for rent, and maybe some fun on the side. There's also the possibility for another on July 2nd, but it's unconfirmed for now. Wish me luck!
