I'm not nauseous anymore, which is an infinitely bright spot on the spectrum, but I have bad news, which is that, due to a previous commitment, I might not be able to make it to the SG party here in Montral0 on the 11th. I'm going to a friend's wedding in BC and there was a problem with the flight and so now it's coming in later, I'm going to try to come in on an earlier flight, but no promises. I'm sorry..... frown
But I hope that you will all continue to be my friends.
I'm also a bit sad about men. One I met here in Montral acted like he was REALLY interested and then didn't return my emails. I guess maybe I'll try to call him once more before I give up. Or maybe he's one of those men who loves to be courted. Uck. I need snuggles and kisses. And the slant of the McGill Track makes my ankle hurt after I run. whatever
But I read a good book for my book review called Inside Iran: Women's Lives. I've decided that I'm definitely going to take Persian next year and see if I can maybe do a stint in Iran with an NGO at some point. Canadian citizenship, not just residency, would make this so much easier, do to all the nonsense restrictions and what not, but we'll see. I bet Persian wouldn't be that hard, after Arabic... bok

My office window is a nice field level view of the molson stadium track. Will I see you running there in the summer?

Iran, next year?

Well, not if Dubya has anything to say about it. Bring a flak jacket.

On the sunny side, this isn't a penguin, but pretty cool nontheless:
