Heading down to L.A. this weekend, to buy some musical instruments and equipment, and to visit some friends in Santa Barbara. I'll be at the Summer Solstice Music Festival on Saturday. Aside from that, I'm leaving things somewhat flexible, just to see what happens!

I really liked Champaign-Urbana, I always miss the great 4th of July fireworks display there, one of the best I have ever seen. Hope you had a good weekend trip!

It was a good trip, mostly. Bought a second hammered dulcimer. Saw some friends, old and new. Heard an absolutely kick-ass concert by a Chicago-area Irish band called Bohola. Missed seeing one of my best friends (the one in Santa Barbara), unfortunately, because she and her husband wound up going out of town to visit her parents. 
I'll have to try to get down there again, I guess.
