Well...I keep trying to get myself out there in the world. Trying to make myself DO something. But part of it still feels fake. I'm not inclined to try to be with a person (or people) if I can't be there 100%. And right now, I can't even be with myself 100%, so it all seems like a sham.

One the cool tip, we've started...

Drayson, I see that you've mixed some tracks for local artists. Do you have anything that you could send my way, original or otherwise?

I'm always intrerested in a good mix to play when DJing.

Things are getting better.

"Nothing can bring you peace but yourself."

And so I'm trying. More each day. Little things. Reading more. Writing more. Exercising - what an amazing difference it makes in my energy level (hooray for endorphins!).

So I'm doing alright. Though I don't think anyone ever reads or comments on my journals...hehe.

That's okay. It all works out in the end.
rickroyal:
It's always something that boggled my mind that exercising increases energy rather than takes it. Which reminds me. Thanks.

YES! Hail to the Theif is the only thing I'm listening to right now. I can't get over how much these guys fucking rock it! They continue to impress me, over and over. Such a beautiful album, one of the best, but really, how can you choose?

"Maybe someday I'll be at the top, and with my head in my hands I'll try make it all stop. Cuz everytime I find love I choke so hard that for weeks my body aches, but I struggle so hard for each breath that I take..."

The book is closed.

It is a rich, full kind of sorrow. Not filled with regret. Filled with heavy sighs, and understanding that the train must now leave the station, I must move.

on.

Fast learning comes at a price. The price is pain, frustration, disappointment in myself for not having spread these lessons out over time, the way I could have had I not...

I'm back after a hiatus. The Dancer Lost.

It is interesting to be back, to see who is still around, who has left, and how much has changed (self included).

I wish there were some way to actually distill my feelings as of late, but the only conclusion I reach is this: I really have no idea how this thing works.*

I feel again like...

This past week (not week=proper, but week=7 days) has quickly moved its way into the second worst in recent history.

My current state of mind: Not in the lower 48
My current physical state: tired beyond belief
My current shitlist consists of: theives and insurance companies (Is there a difference? Discuss.)
My saving graces: the sun, music (though not in my car...), a woman who...

True. My drink of choice is vodka and tonic with a slice (not a wedge) of lemon. Preferably Grey Goose vodka. But I had one last Fat Tire in the fridge, and at the end of today, I just couldn't be bothered to make myself a drink.

So I pop the top and down it goes...

Dealing with insurance sucks. And I work the company by which I'm insured. Wow.

To their credit, they've been very responsive and polite. But I think it is just the fact that I have so many other things I'd rather being doing with my time than tracking case #'s and listing out my lost CD's, getting quotes on new audio systems (okay, that part is...

So, my car was broken into last night. Stereo, speakers, over 30 CD's, and my fucking basketball all gone.

Fucking bastard people.

Honestly, for some weird reason...I'm more choked up about the ball than the other stuff. And I don't even play that much........

But the stereo, speakers and damage is covered under insurance. The CD's are covered under my renter's policy, but I have...
