Do you ever get that feeling that everything is going so perfect you are like, FUCK, because you know something bad is going to happen to make it go down again. Life seems to always have a way of balancing things out. Like when you are really sad usually something will cheer you up eventually, and when your really happy it seems something always fucks it up.
I was just worried about that, but I take what life gives me and try to do the best I can with it.

If you fail to bring this issue up with him and it irritates you so, there's already a communication problem between you two. Communication issues in relationships usually end up with the most hurt.
Text messaging... Not really mature, this guy, is he?
Neglecting you for some text-action with the ex... Doesn't sound like the guy's got his shit together.
But who's to say? I don't know the guy. He could still want to be super-good friends with the ex. But then, why is she an ex?
Are you guys exclusive? Or is he maybe still doin' things with 'er?
Just bring up the issue. Tell him you're not feeling very special because everytime you try to do something his texts flow on in.
I'm not telling you what to do. I don't know the situation well enough for that. But what I would do in this situation: Turn his phone off. Be cute and spontaneous. Turn it off. Start a makeout session...
If he stops to turn it on. You'd need someone worth your time.
Hope all is well sweetie.
Your face is too pretty to have a mouth all upside down in the middle of it.
Take care.
