I just finished the Obsidian trilogy (well, the second two books, never could wait). Outstanding. I guess that i have always been attracted to books, namely fantasy books that have centered around an implacable foe and only the enending sacrifce of some noble hero or other can stop them.
There was one line that stood out for me, it pretty much sums up my contempt for christians: A person does not do a good thing to be recognized, they do it becuase it is right. I am going to leave it at that.
Anyone interested in some great writing and a story that would be simple to read in one sitting, given time, pick up the series.
I got two 'new' rims for my car, standard stock to replace those stupid low profile rims that came with the car. 30 bucks each, not that bad i guess, and another 70 for the tires <sigh>, so much for picking up blacksmithing anytime before summer.
