My Thanksgiving

That was it.
Friends in a Brooklyn apartment. It went well.

Lately I've been in and out of moments of despair and common contentment.

I miss some friends I had and am at odds at how to make new ones.

I keep hoping I can chalk this up to time, and hope that it will change soon.
My friend said something interesting though, that all we're doing here, us non native persons, are trying to prove we can stand on our own.
