I don't want to say that I am the political guru of the modern age but I believe I said that Edwards was gone hours before he announced. I wouldn't be surprised if he hints at endorsing Obama since he could get the vice presidential nomination from that campaign if he wanted it. Edwards support of Obama would have a greater impact in the race than it would should he endorse The Clinton. Obama would be wise to borrow from Edwards' playbook because I always felt that the only thing Barack needed to be the perfect democratic nominee was John Edwards' populist touch.
