I do have a thought. I've written a few local people off this group who have "dating profiles". Just to get together, meet up -whatever. There's a consistent reply: "I would like to meet you but there are just too many sketchy people cruising the net, doind creepy shit." As if I'm a 66 year-old pervert. I have to say that's just a turn-off and a half. If a person is going to have a dating profile, they should expect someone to eventuallyt write express interest. Right? So I recommend that those people who have those "dating profiles" but don't want to date or meet anyone new take those profiles down. Make sense? I guess people can have a fake date -where you make plans and all then when that time comes you both sit at home at your keyboards and type away. I have to be clear however. My intentions are not to pretend to date, but to do it for real. So if anyone isn't totally scared of strangers as big brother wants us to be, drop a line. I'm not scared.
