So earlier this year I was in Amsterdam, ready to go to the Van Gogh museum where I had originally thought starry night would be.
Upon arriving, spending three hours really soaking everything in and feeling the inspiration behind the many famous pieces van Gogh has created, I had come to realize there was no starry night.
I am a huge art buff, and thought I like uniqueness the feelings presented and the story being this painting has always been held dear to my heart.
So I approached a worker and politely, asked them where this beautiful blue painting was hiding and she told me, New York city. (Damn it!!) I thought to myself as I felt an overwhelming wave of disappointment take over my body. I went home, still grateful but this past weekend, upon getting to go to New York city on a spontaneous adventure, I finally got to see this world renowned, breathtaking piece.
