Do you ever hit up the local spots - The Other Place, Crown and Anchor ... I used to be a big Take 5 guy in NP but since I'm in the valley now I don't go there as much. The other place always kind of ended up being a shitty scene when I went there. Crown and Anchor can be cool but Russ the owner is sometimes a dick. My best friend lives around the corner though so i end up there sometimes.
