Holy shit two posts in one month. It's a goddamned miracle.

Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas or whatever holiday you choose to celebrate. I'd say I was looking forward to the New Year but out in the desert there isn't much to drink so my excitement level is low. Started getting my tax free pay this month though so that's something. This whole Navy thing is a pain in the ass sometimes but it seems to be working out in my favor. Getting some volunteer hours done here and there out here. The newest one is being part of the Black History Month Committee which I personally think is a bit hilarious. One of two white people on this committee that organizes events and posters and presentations in preparation for February. Other than that not much going on, just writing to write at this point in the hopes of making some new friends. We'll see how long this keeps up.
