last night really raised the question as to why i dont do more musically inclined stuff.
oh and i finally busted out of my shell and kicked ass on most of the shit i sang on rock band. most notably, Highway Star and Maps. Apparently i do a wicked good Karen O impression.
Now, for all of you who don't know, my dad works nights, so growing up we couldn't be super loud and all that. so even though i am a rather loud human being, when it came to singing, i could not yell or scream, it would always get choked. so when i hit up highway star last night (fucking LOVE that song) it was a pretty big shock for everyone that such a wicked noise could come out of such a tiny Dose. i finally felt in my element for once.
to give you a feel as to what the flying FUCK i'm talking about listen here.
alright that's enough. all this ego is bothering me.

my brother and sister were babies when i was in h.s, so i was never allowed to make any noise after like 8 pm. i got so used to listening to my stereo on like, 2, that even now when background music is even a little bit loud i get agitated.
