Dose's Saturday Randomness continues...
I set up the new lappy in under 15 min ( a plus because i am a duh-duh-duh-dumbass) and then watched 28 Weeks Later on it. I must say, for a sequel it really stood on it's own. it was very good. and quite intense at parts, even for myself. Cillian, i'll always love you, but that was damn good. no lags. although, i enjoyed the use of "In the house" a lot more in the first movie. i'm glad John Murphy (who ironically did all of the music) used it again. but way too many times. by the 3rd time i heard it, it was like..come on..now it seems like you couldnt pick the best part to use it (which i feel was the beginning when don was running from the mob of the infected.) to give it the proper time to build to it's climax.
mmmmm. climax
Me and my pal amanda went out about 7:30 last night. hit up Friday's for some Jack Daniel's Chicken, then drove around chatting waiting for the boys to get out of the premier for the golden compass (by the boys, i mean mostly my philly group, not to be mistaken with my fav SGNJ-New Brunswick Division boys). So while we were waiting we drove past the middle school in town and there were hundreds of desks sitting out on the lawn. like they were out to pasture. sooooooooo. we snagged a few. which was a challange, but go me. we placed one on two of the guy's lawns, facing the house like ominous lawn orniments. it was quite hilarious. however, this is not the firs time this has happened (i was not included the first time) so it only continued the paranoia in the group. silly harmless fun. stealing desks in the cold night.
then we wound up and some kid's house who had a ps3. Let me just say, the game Loco Roco has scared me for life. i'm not even joking.
so that's it. i wound up home around 1:30. i woke up, there was snow on the ground. so i'm gonna go take a nice long walk alone to clear my head (had some nasty dreams last night). i enjoy the almost uncomfortable slience that comes with snow. one of the few things that makes me truly happy.
