I can admit that i'm one of those kids. i was a band/drama/theater nerd. In fact, i think performing was the only thing that kept me sane in high school. With that being said, my sexy nerd panties quivered when i found out Tim Burton was making a movie version of Sweent Tood: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street. I LOVE that show. It's so dark and ridiculous, it's wonderful and after seeing the trailer, i'm very excited.
I'm not entirely sold on the musical aspect of it, or rather, the fact that Johnny Depp is singing. It's not horrible it's just..odd. but i think i can really look past that. And fucking Alan Rickman is in it.
Jay actually showed me another trailer that shows a little bit more of the musical number shown here, but everyone is frozen in time and he's walking amoung them putting his blade to their throats..gave me shivers.
