Life is very odd
But you gotta love it anyway.
Just when i make this elaborate system of getting by, whenever i think i cannot be shocked or surprised anymore i get a proverbial curveball to the face.
May 9th has a very notorious history in my life. For the past 7 years whacky, straining all sorts of mentally exhausting things happened. no real rhyme or reason to it. Yesterday work sucked horribly so i went out and had a few drinks and somehow "won" two rounds of pool. Got ahead of myself, ended up not going home, had an all around good time.
the cosmos made up for it today. Some events were totally out of my control, some not so far out of my hands.
I guess it is somewhat foolish that i've been waiting 21 years for shit to reach some sort of normalicy plateau, for shit to just even out and let me stand back and look at my failures and successes and count my losses on one hand and be grateful for my hard earned results
