so today has been a day of ups and downs. thankfully, there are more ups than downs and i thank my luck stars for that.
+ Work went usually well. My meeting instead of the usual 2 hours was less than 1. And afterwards, i got the ceo's credit card to order some stuff off of ebay. i had to create a gmail and paypal account because security is tight everywhere these days but still. I ordered some software for my computer that i really need for work and i'm really happy. i could've gone on a spend spree but..ya know. i'm too honest for my own good. i also made some major headway in a few big cads. i also found out that i did the inital sound specs for chiller and didnt even know it, even if they were rejected and used a different vendor. it's all good, i still feel honored.
-my car was frozen solid and i was 30 minutes late to work
+the lovely daschund that i showed in my last post is now officially OURS. I came home from first aid when the foster mom brought him over to meet us and he greeted me with a big ol kiss. I'm in love. She said he seemed so taken with us, that she even had all his things with her in the car and she left him here from tonight until forever. when i came home 30 minutes ago he was snuggled up in his new bed. it feels so good to have a dog back in this house again. and now my mom has a new companion. not to knock my weasels or anything, i still love my little trekkie q monster to death. but she's not as affectionate. and a little more stinky.
-the back of my bottom middle tooth broke off. I now have to get to a dentist stat because it's cutting into my tongue. I've never even had a cavity in my entire life. oh, i also need to mention i have no dental insurence. this is going to set back my ireland spending money a tad.
+but i guess in hindsight, i should just relax about it. Tomorrow i'm cooking dinner for a good friend to celebrate his good health and thats all i'm really thankful for.

ugh...if it makes you feel any better, things are going to be kind of bleak for me for the next two weekends.

Congrats on everything going well, and boo for the tooth. I feel your pain!! We need to hang out soon, I feel like i haven't seen you in forever.
