doolittle

i had a good day yesterday, i hung out with one of my best friends all day. we went to the mall we used to work at together and ate dinner (yeah, we suck) and then we played several mean games of volleyball with a bunch of friends. it was so much fun. went out and had a few drinks while playing ntn quizzes at buffalo wild wings too, it was cool. earlier that day though, i got a great surprise, one of my best friends from high school that i haven't talked too in nearly five years randomly called me. it is so good to hear from him! i found out that he did in fact continue on with the army like he said he was going to, and now he is some sort of chemical officer, and he also jumps out of planes. pretty cool. unfortunately in about a year (after traveling around for lots of different specific training) he is going to be shipped off to iraq or afghanistan. i know too many people going over there, i hate it. i am proud of all of them though.

so today i gotta work, and then i can't do shit tonight cause i have to work tomorrow morning. it will be a lame friday night tonight. but that's ok i guess. i wanted to go to first friday, but i will be working to late for it, it'll be over by the time i leave work.
