this is sad. today in my english class, my professor started talking about a sattire we would read called a modest proposal. this caused me to burst out laughing, because it made me think of this exchange from sealab 2021 on adult swim. :

Sparks: I've got something for you.
Debbie: What is it?
Sparks: A book.
Debbie: What's the book?
Sparks: A modest proposal.
Debbie: By whom?
Sparks: Jonothan Swift.
Debbie: And what is it about?
Sparks: Eating babies.

yeah, i feel like the biggest nerd.


it's been kind of a rough weekend. i think hope, my lab-mix dog, about 15 years, had some sort of stroke or seizure. joey and i are taking her in to the vet tomorrow, possibly to be put down, depending on what the vet says. i am mighty upset, this is in no way easy for me. i am glad my mom came to town tonight, we went to dinner and sang karaoke, it took my mind off of being depressed. i actually had to run to the bathroom i was so nauseous from hope being sick on sunday. her eyes were rolling around in her head, and i felt sick for her.


alright, i am done now. time to rest and catch up with the boyfriend, and snuggle with our pups.
