There is something to be said about the New Year and Holidays. It just affords humans an opportunity to a new start. It gives us a chance to commence with clarity and enthusiasm. The New Year can really facilitate and create an occasion to forget, forgive and move on. Our greatest enemy at times is guilt; mainly associated with things we have done against ourselves, how we have screwed up, how we have done ourselves wrong, how we have lacked integrity somehow. This is not so clearly seen and exposed as when we do others wrong, or else we would easily fix it, repair it and correct it. But we move throughout the year subconsciously ignoring some of this deep rooted guilt that many times compels us to behave in a way that we try to hide our transgressions against ourselves. We go on the year hating ourselves, not liking who we are and not taking care of ourselves in the best possible way. The end product is a lot of drama and many times repetitive drama. Drama is not always bad; soluble drama - when it goes away easily - is very entertaining.

I am taking these last few days to assess who I am, who I have been and keeping in mind seeking the highest level of integrity - who I want to be. Acknowledging my actions will result in making a better and deeper contribution to society as a global citizen and human being. More importantly, this is a revolution, a revolution of change, a revolution where we aim to value the person not a gender, a revolution where we value humanity and not the accumulation of wealth, a revolution where we respect ideas, beliefs, creativity, culture, color and creed. Who I am, what I do, and how I behave matters in this revolution. We must care and love ourselves and behave as we believe.

So in this New Year I want to be a better human being, eliminate the non-soluble drama, and Move the Revolution Forward. I want to send all my love to the women who came out this past year as SGs, who shared their beauty, creativity and kept me going with a happy face. Thank you all - for the loving that takes place among SG members, for in this revolution we care for each other, and thats a very good thing. - have a great New Year. Un Abrazo MUAH!!!!!!!
