Is it still called being "stood up" if you are at a function with someone and they disappear on you for so long you end up leaving because you feel like an ass?
Well, that's what happened to me on Saturday night. My so called date wanted me to bring her home so she could get some Tylenol for her "headache". She then comes out of the house and tells me to go back to the function, her mom is bringing her more money, and she'll see me in 20 minutes.
Well, after an hour of waiting I decided to leave. Turns out she showed back up maybe an hour later!
This is after I had already carted her around town whilst she tried to find her "id".
And to top it off, being the loyal SOB that I am, I blew a perfect opportunity to dance/chat/whatever with a very beautiful girl who I've had a crush on for years, who was at the function alone!
The fate handed me her and I blew it! Does opportunity knock more then once?
I hope so.
