I’m making this quick blog before going to work, because I still feel really bad....
I went to the vet with Melon my hedgehog on Saturday, because for a couple of months he was squealing every time he was eating (hedgehogs eat cat food if you’re wondering) so I was thinking maybe his teeth were hurting him or something. So I decided to call the vet when one night he actually choked on his food... so the day after I gave him soft food to eat and on Saturday I went and.... I feel so bad guys... Turns out that Melon lost all of his bottom teeth so we were actually giving him food he couldn’t chew properly 😠I had no idea he could lose all of his teeth like that and since it is his bottom teeth it is very hard to notice... so soft food from now on....
On the bright side he’s super healthy for his age!
