Ok so I'm 34 and I've put off driving for a looooooong time because of anxiety. 10 hours behind the wheel is more than enough experience here in the states. You also shouldn't have to spend a fortune to learn how to take a test. My advice would be to puke on your instructor and borrow a friend's car to do practice runs at an empty lot. ;-)
