There're few people more deserving of our gratitude and respect than a good cop ... and few more disgusting & reprehensible than a 'bad cop.' The good cops are those who bring honor and respect for the uniform, while the bad cop merely feeds on that goodwill and violates the public trust given him. My next-door neighbor is one of the good cops and I thank him every day for the job he does for our community.

My husband is a cop and I kiss him goodnight every time he goes into work not knowing if tonight will be the night. They are so overworked, underpaid, and hated on so hard. Police officers have hearts too, they bleed just like the rest of us do.
