as i was saying, before i was so rudely interrupted- (that's what i get for jacking internet)...
ok so i figured i hadn't properly introduced myself to SG and was saying a few things about myself. probably that i'm an insomniac, i like chocolate a lot, classic rock owns me, and that i was a ballet dancer for a long time? oh yes, and an SG hopeful even though i'm not at the point where i like myself without clothes, which is kind of why i sent in my application in the first place. i mean, if i got a photoset accepted, that would feel pretty groovy, right? right.
any other groupie gals out there? i mean REAL groupies, like pamela des barres was back in the day. don't know pamela? read her books!! and check out her myspace, which i designed for her
she's a doll and an inspiration.
i'm moving to LA soon, so that is very exciting. i've been looking for places on craigslist but hopefully we'll take a trip back to thousand oaks, where my best friend is from, and crash there a bit whilst looking for houses and attending readings for pamela's latest- let's spend the night together: backstages secrets of rock muses and supergroupies. my galpals and i were interviewed for the book but didn't make the final cut (along with 100 other pages of stories...oh, publishers). but we are new on the scene and didn't have THAT much to gush about, so we're quite ok with not being in the book.
ok well hopefully this goes through, and thanks to all my new friends on here for stopping by to say hullo. all two of you? LOL.
PIC OF THE DAY: we took this of robert plant at a benefit for arthur lee of LOVE, who died of cancer and was having to pay outrageous medical bills to try and survive. we met robert after the show and hung out backstage- it was one of the best evenings ever!
