it's thursday, and time for a healthy dose of random, boring goodies from the doll.
i hate blueberries, but love blueberry muffins..wtf?
i slipped while shaving the no-no place today, and cut myself in a very unpleasant way.
i wear red lipstick, pretty much all of the time.
i have the greatest job in the world. i get to schmooze with wine geeks and foodies all day, and drink fabulous wines whenever i want.
this week i break a mile stone:
4,000 bottles in my personal cellar. that is over 333 cases.
my deodorant stopped working today. i have used the same kind for like, 8 years.
not that i am super stinky or any thing, but now i am going to have to find a new brand, stand in the deode aisle, do the sniff test, and that messes with my whole scent scheme. rather unsettling.
my car is 2,000 miles over due for an oil change. on the up side, it is incredibly clean..
i can never find my wallet. and though i have like, 25 purses, i never use any of them.
my brief case/ wine bag weighed in at 45lbs today on my shipping scale.. no wonder my back hurts all the time.
i hate anchovies, but love then is caesar salad dressing.
my favorite pair of boots have been re-soled 4 times.
i have two firm beliefs when shopping for clothes.. first, quality over quantity, and secondly buy key pieces, in every SOLID color. (for me its usually black, grey, magenta, or puke green and sometimes even red- very rarely do i wear prints)
and always, always buy them in duplicate.
the doll is weird about lending out her dvd's, (she never seems to get them back)
but, she makes cd's for everyone.
my favorite shows at the moment are in no particular order:
the tudors
squidbillies
"light at the end of the earth" series and pretty much any thing on the smithsonian channel.
no reservations (of course)
dead wood
i tivo these shows and watch them late at night because i cannot sleep.
my sister and i take turns sending each other gossip magazines like us, people and vanity fair in the mail. once a month we alternate and send a big box to one another, full of fun things. cd's, gossip mags, our favorite candy, pictures, funny found objects, sea shells, and last but not leat we have kind of an unspoken contest... we try to find the strangest food item.. like sulferized shrimp shavings or dried knewt legs...etc. the best place to find said items is at the grocery outlet or your local ethnic market. she topped me last month, by somehow procuring pickles pig anus...yes. in a jar. the lower part of pig intestine.. soggy wrinkly prune like pig o-rings....foul
