i went to a debate last night featuring Steve Hagar, long time editor and chief of High Times Magazine, and Rober Stutman, veteran of the DEA. The topic was the legalization of that sticky green shit you and I love. It was pretty interesting, both sides had really good issues.

ultimately i think the shit should not be illegal, but i'm not sure how well our society would react if weed was legal.

your thoughts?

Considering alcohol and cigarettes are both legal, and proven to be more lethal than marijuana (to date, as far as I know, the casualty rate from marijuana remains 0), I think it's absolutely ridiculous that the shit's still illegal. It is, of course, politics and economics. You just don't make as much off of legal substances, and much like gay marriage, it's a hot-button political topic. Damn Nancy Reagan and her stupid campaign.

And I don't even smoke the stuff. Imagine what an actual user must think about this issue. whatever
