I went to a party at an old bandmate's house today. Everyone was married and had kids. They looked tired and serious. All the guys from my old band showed up. It was weird seeing all of them grown up, but still the same. Met some really nice people and generally had a fun time with my old friends.
Old people are funny.

I knocked over a table of menus at the papermoon diner in Baltimore. I was making my move to talk to a girl I had seen there several times before. She looked at me and laughed. My friend, Steve, sang "Smooth Operator" by Sade. Dick! I still cringe when I hear that song.

Tripping over a crooked paving stone and falling flat on my face on my first date with my ex boyfriend. Still he stuck with me for two years so he couldnt have been that mortified by my clumsy behaviour.
