When someone asks where you go. And who the artist was. Then go on to recommend another shop and another artist. It's like. "Well. I go. To the place I just said." But I'm like. Oh ok. cool. The icing on the cake is the recommended shop is in walking distance from my house. Yet I went a half an hour away. I was already a teenager once and have ink evidence of my bad decision making skills from back then.

I ask people occasionally because I don't have a go to artist. The guy who did my last piece was very good but he moved back to Arkansas. I have a couple artists that I will probably check into when I'm ready to get my next piece, but they are new to me. So, I ask because I'm hoping to get a new tattoo later in the year. On the flip side, I only mention my tattoos when someone asks. I'm not into "my artist is better than your artist" thing. Unless my artist totally fucked one up and I need a cover up, which, thankfully hasn't happened.
