Today we filmed the very end shot of the movie. It's not the end of filming though. There are still some scenes to film. We are breaking for the next 3 weeks. Then it's going at it hard again on Sept 13th. September will be crazy. The weekends at the end of the month are two day shoots each. Probably 15 hours of filming each day.
With the filming of the last shot. I have to say. It is a very powerful image. My statement still stands from the very first blog I wrote about this film, after reading the script. It's very powerful. Important. Very controversial. A film that needs to be seen.
This is the best film Rick Chandler has ever made. I'm saying that in a thematic. Straight forward. And just plain badass way. I'm happy this is the one I got to work on. This movie is also extremely metal. And bloody. It has something for everyone.
