that poem is great, i can feel it. i can't beleive i missed it before.

my kitties haven't gotten interested in the computer monitor but Mitzi, my sweet baby (a 10 year old baby) chases the big, bad scary all over the house. i've read it's due to adrenaline rushes that indoor cats get but i like the sound of "chasing the big, bad scary", which my boyfriend came up with.

i agree with you, cats are great company. sometimes mine drive me crazy but i couldn't live without 'em. cat lovers gotta stick together because non-cat lovers can be downright mean. there's a guy at work who seemed like a nice, normal person and one day he says "the only good cat is a dead cat". now forget that we're cat lovers for a sec and just think of how mean that sounds, no matter what or who is being discussed! ugh! that made me sooooo mad! i love most animals but cats have always been my come first love.

i hope you are doing great and been up to many fun things!looks as if you are thinking of traveling a bit. i'm getting the travel bug again too, nothing adventurous, anything warm and relaxing will do...ahhh....but i need to accrue a bit more vacation time and things are a bit hectic at work right now.

I hope you have a great trip to St. Maarten. Sounds like an ideal Rx for nyc; what is better than a boat, the sun and the sea? Looking forward to yr island pics. I'm travelling in northern China now and still pretty cold here, so a little time in the islands sounds pretty damn good. Have a safe trip, and as you recommended to me, think about the sunscreen,
and watch out for jellyfish.
