POEM: Bird
How quickly it flashes rearing its head
The Firey deamon of love I dread.
Stalking my emotions like a wounded bird
with a low song only the bitten have heard.
Leave me alone, please dont ever let me go.
Push me I pull you saying yes in the no.
The motions and gestures gleefully attract
pantomiming freedom while claws do attach.
Stop I cant take another fall from the train
in the night screaming out in tortuous pain.
I dare you to be gentle you raging beast
Not to tear the flesh just to have a fine feast
But I know you better, and your hungry ways
How you torment and touch my skin to a blaze.
So I try hard to choke you down in my throat
build a wall around you complete with a moat
But no cage is big enough to put you in
your rampant success will end in my ruin
