Assault on Precinct 13 rocked.

We are in the height of winter... It has snowed like 5 times in the past 2 weeks.... I love it, outside of driving home at night... when everything has frozen over.

I could not sleep, so here I am up at 7:30 am. I checked the temp outside and it's fucking -12 outside. MINUS TWELVE! Feels like an under armor day to me.....

Lord of the Rings: Return of the King.... extended long ass edition is quite good. So many new scenes... some, making me wonder why they were cut and some, well, quite obvious as to why they were cut.

"Collateral" is brilliant. I saw it over the summer and bought it yesterday. I've watched it 4 times already. Each time I watch it, I find something new, something little. Michael Mann has been and continues to be one of my favorite directors.

Watched SLC Punk last night.... What a great movie. It's hard to watch, since I know the outcome of the film, cause even though it's funny.... there's a cloud the whole time.

In other news....

I think I may actually get my whole weekend this time around. I've been working 6 and 7 day weeks forever. Damn the TV news world.

I went to the movies today, to see Blade Trinity, when, to my surprise, I saw that "Closer" was playing there. So, yes, I went and saw that instead. It was excellent in my opinion. I spent yesterday surrounded by bishops and priests.... slightly odd, but still very interesting. The Harrisburg Diocese inducted their new Bishop. Quite a ceremony to say the least.
