my band is working on a CD and digital album. it's in the process of being put together for sale. it is a lot of work for me. this is a really inexpensive project. we recorded on a portable 16 track recorder; then later transferred the tracks to computer to be edited, mixed, and mastered. i used fairly inexpensive or free software to do everything. it's kind of an experiment in a new paradigm of recording. working with 24 track tapes and old school mixing boards was fun; but really expensive. to have all of these recording processors available on a laptop is really liberating. i continue my struggle with various file formats; while dreaming of playing guitar.
still waiting for the dentists to pull my wisdom teeth. maybe only two more weeks....
