Saw Pirates. S'good. Tired. Need to sleep, gotta get up to fill out new hire paperwork for county job. Awesome. Fingerprints as well, I believe. Tres exciting.

Got a haircut today. Exciting, right? I haaaaated it when I got home, but I think it's growing on me. (Wow, bad hair joke.) I took a curling iron to some of it, put a little doodad in it, and I think it may be the beginning of a bee-you-tee-full friendship. I do think my bangs are a tad too short. I'm not stressing. Hair...

The scroll button on my mouse is acting up. I can scroll down but not up. Frustration! I live for the scrolly button. I feel it is one of the single handiest... doohickies for my computing pleasure.

Went to Asylum last night. LOLZ. Had many a good laugh, because I am a jerkface asshole. I did have a genuinely good time though, dancing like an...

Hope work doesn't get too nuts. Or if it does, it's entertainingly so.

I never care for the "could care less/couldn't care less" expression. Never seems right to me.

Glad to see you're in the group.

The rollerball on my apple mighty mouse always acts up.

Its all part of Apple's plan to drive me insane.

Got new tires on my Ghia today- drives SO much better! The old tires were craptastic, thanks to the previous owner letting her sit on flats for at least 6 months. I should have replaced those things long ago, but it's not that cheap, yanno? Ah well. It's totally worth it. Shame I don't actually need a car, living and working downtown. Ah well, it's...

Yeah, some of the SG Sac people found this amazing little sushi bar in Davis. Best $11 I've ever spent. I still have no idea what a lot of the stuff is, but i really like it. It's going to kill my wallet if i end up near one when i move downtown.

I recommend Nishiki on 16th or Sushi cafe on Freeport past Land Park.

Had dinner at Mom's tonight. Deeeeeelish. My sister just got back from her first year of college today, so that was exciting. She ratted me out re: my septum piercing, and Mom, naturally, flipped.

Well, not entirely. She just doesn't understand it, and wants to call me "Ferdinand" like the little bull from the children's book. (He doesn't want to go fight in the ring,...

County job is MINE!! 14.40 an hour to START. Over 8.50. Shit yeeeah, son!

Spent a lovely, albeit windy day in SF yesterday. I wore a dress, which complicated things a bit, but we had a great time. Checked out the MOMA, walked all the fuck over town, shopped, it was lovely.

It pales in comparison to landing a fantastically crappy data-entry job, though. Hooray!...

Congrats!!! That's pretty exciting. Don't spend all your new money in one place

Yuck but true: Septum piercing equals mad crazy boogerage during this, the allergy season.

Came home from work today to find not a baby, but a shower curtain rod on our doorstep. WOO! We had stapled the curtain liner to the walls of the bathroom, and that was working, but this is 100% awesome. Were I handy around the house, I'd try and install it....

septum youch!!! I would imagine that to be one of the most painful. I've gotten eyebrow, nose and lip. But, that seems too painful. We actually broke the first guitar hero II we got. My littest one pulled on the controller wire and made the whole system fall and I guess that scratched the disc so we had to buy another one. all in the same day.

I'm finally asking for things at work- my owed commission, and to change my tax filing status so I don't fuck up next year's taxes too horribly. And I may be leaving soon. Waiting to hear back about either of my interviews with the county is agonizing. Wouldn't be so bad if work was exciting. Today was dead and HOT. The AC at work either...

Another lazy day off, spent unpacking stuff, and throwing stuff away. Totally dig throwing stuff away. It's like a fresh start. I feel like I'm de-burdening(?) myself when I get rid of stuff that five years ago, I would refuse to part with.

Is that what one calls "personal growth?" I feel like I've changed lately. Good change, not bad change. Like I'm getting a...

I know precious little about chicklit, but I do reccommend heavily "Hearts in Atlantis" by Stephen King, if you haven't read it. Totally different than a lot of his other stuff. Also, Nick Hornby is wonderful, especially "High Fidelity." I've got far too many books at the moment, so reccommending is always good.

Is "How To Be Good" worth reading? Friend gave me a copy a while back, but haven't gotten around to reading it.

Finally got my septum pierced. Love it. Bit crooked, but with a bit o'training, should be no problemo.

It's Cinco de Drinko, and no one has called me yet! Though I suppose if you want people to call, you should probably give said folks your phone number. Hurr.

We've been terribly busy unpacking and moving and moving and unpacking and throwing away stuff that it...
