Woo, here comes the suck! We've finally hit the slow season in Old Sacramento, so there ain't nothing to do at work but clean. On the bright side, we should be going to Disneyland pretty soon. On the not bright side, hours be gettin' CUT. So I need to balance that with barista-in' hours, and by requesting a raise. Sounds simple enough, but it's something...

I hear ya. Boys are crazy. I've got three here. And all they do is play video games. Each and every one of them. They're usually hogging up my DS so I don't get to play much. I want to go to Disneyland!!!

Doot doo doo. Watching the Island, deep in the middle of my work week. Ugh. I hate work so hard lately. Retail is the worst. No joke. I much prefer food service over retail. I am so sick of being ignored by jerkass customers. I try to be nice and helpful, FUCK. Asshats.

Movie time, goodnight blog!

This weekend was mostly crap, due primarily to having a cold. Suck. I'm finally feeling better- not 100%, but getting there. I don't have a single day off this week. I am retarded for agreeing to an extra shift without a second thought. Am I becoming a workaholic? I totally dig the money I'm making (which isn't all that much), but man, I don't feel...

I'm getting sick. Deelish! Who doesn't love a wicked nasty case of post-nasal drip?! I scored some crappy Sudafed at Target on the way home from work earlier, popped some, but it doesn't seem to be doing anything. I've got a crappy dry cough and some shortness of breath. LAME. I just hope it doesn't get worse- can't afford to miss work. Well... I suppose...

Hellish weekend, only looks to get worse. Hating work of any kind right now. Want to go on a Wii hunt! Sister is home for the holiday, the boy turns the big 21 on Thanksgiving (EXCITEMENT) and I'm watching Arthur (for the first time, woot). Quite funny indeed!

The martini party for work last night was most successful! For me at least. Should be getting...

My god, I love my boyfriend the cook. He made the most bitchin' enchiladas ever to grace my face-hole. SO YUM.

Now, we watch Fantastic 4, and maybe later, catch Indiana Jones at the throwback flix. WOOT.

Godard event this weekend. Lameness, I am crap at selling art, even if it is to martini'd up folks. Natch, I need the commission though!

How exciting! Nothing in particular, unfortunately, but I am really enjoying our new pad. I am doing my first load of laundry with our new washer & dryer. We recently got our cable hooked back up (awesome). Granted, I haven't been getting much done around the house, but I'm sure the lure of cable will loose it's grip on my soul.

Currently watching "Cheaters" on...

Oh heavens. I should be getting ready for work. I... am not tired, but more often than not, the idea of going to work just wearies me.

Am watching 6 Feet Under for the first time. I can dig it.

Right. I need to get all cleaned up so I can sell stuff at work tonight. Pretty me=better sales? Who knows. It usually means better...

The moving has been going well, and I think we've found a washer and dryer that's new and within our budget. So very exciting indeed! We've been spending our days off moving boxes, cleaning up around the new place, and shopping for necessities. Real glamorous, I know. We simply don't have enough hours in the day to have much of a social life.

We did...

SO! We got the awesome duplex smack dab Downtown we were waiting to hear back on. It's more expensive than we'd wanted to pay, but for the space, it really is worth it. It's got a garage and washer/dryer hookups. I never thought I'd see the day when washer/dryer hookups, and a DISHWASHER would make my day.

Growing up never ceases to amaze.

So, for...

Dishwashers are among the greatest things ever created, just behind the garbage disposal. Anyway, just wanted to come by & say thanks for the add. Glad to hear things are going well. smile

dishwashers and wash/dryer are an absolute dealbreaker for me. never will I not have them again. I hope you move is quick and painless. I doubt you have all the crap that we do, with the boys and all, but moving is a bitch.

Tired. I have to quit my second job. It's stressing me out to an extent that is not worth the extra money. I won't be paid what I'm worth there. So. Yanno. I need to ask for a raise at Stage Nine, and just work my ass off. We need to be more thrifty, and move in to a place with Issac. I think I...

At least you have a savings. We do not. We have the opposite. Here is a work of advice: If you can't afford it, you don't need it. Never, Never, Never depend on credit cards. Sounds like your on the right track anyways, but keep that in mind.

I really enjoyed Studio 60 last night. Funny stuff. Made me miss my SNL obsession. I'm just not so into it anymore. When I was a teenager (god... I hate the sound of that, but at the same time, I can't stand most teenagers), I had a mean SNL obsession. If you're into SNL, I'd suggest "Live From New York" by Tom Shales and James...
