I hate posting a strong opinion in a thread about a controversial topic and having it be the first one to bleed over to a new page. Then everyone that clicks on the thread will read that post first, and I don't really want to have that kind of scrutiny thrown on it when I post it initially. Especially if it's already veering off topic. Oh well, screw it.
I did my first homework tonight in like... 5 years, practically. I wrote maybe one and a half papers in my first year of college. I didn't really do much homework in high school either, and still got by with good grades. That doesn't seem to fly at the collegiate level (hence my skillfull flunking). But now I remember why I didn't do it before. It sucks and it's boring. I don't like writing with a pen unless it's a tiny note or something. It's too permanent, I end up crossing stuff out all over the place and it looks like a mess. Plus my hand cramps. I was diagnosed with ADD when I was like five, but I haven't really felt it since I was 13. But I did tonight. Almost every part of me resists sitting down and getting to work. It takes a huge amount of effort to not set it aside at the first opportunity.
So yeah, that entire huge paragraph pretty much boils down to "I don't like homework", which is sorta an assumption you can make about any person anyways. Aren't you glad you read it? Unless you didn't, and in that case, I don't blame you.
