So they had a ton of asparagus stalks that were written off at work, and I took a few bunches and put them in a bag. Walking to the bus stop, I was like "There's no way I'm gonna eat all this asparagus. I should try to give some away." So I get on the bus and halfway home, this guy got on and sat behind me. After a few minutes, he leaned in over my shoulder and asked for money. I could barely understand him and he smelled like booze. I was like "I don't have any change, but, uh... I've got a ton of asparagus if you want that." So he was like "Yeah, gimmie that." So I took one bunch out and handed it to him. He held out his hand to take it, but his fingers weren't working very well. I guess he must have misunderstood me, because then he was like "Fuck you! Fuck you! God damn son of a bitch. You go asparagus yourself!" He was sitting behind me for another couple minutes as my stop came up and he kept cursing me out, and I couldn't see if he would have pulled something on me. Finally, he got up and moved to the front of the bus. I thought he was gonna get off at my stop, but luckily he didn't.

For the record, need2xcap2 was right. I had about 9 cans of soup on my kitchen counter, and like 4 bottles of beer. But I cleaned that all up now.
