I stayed up all night refreshing a website every 5 minutes, but it was worth it because I now have 4 tickets to the super special 6 month early sneak preview of the movie Serenity on May 26th. There are twenty locations showing it around the country, most sold out in less than three hours, some in less than one. Fandango and movietickets.com crashed because people were searching so frantically. And the website had to take the theater phone numbers offline because they were getting so swamped with calls that they complained.
It's in Chicago, so I gotta drive. None of my friends know anything about the movie, so I don't really know if anyone's coming with me. I have one guy interested, and hopefully two more, my friend and her sister that I like. But it's at 10pm on a Thursday with a 90 minute drive each way, and we have to get there earlyish because there's gonna be a huge ass line. So I wouldn't blame them if they don't want to go. I can always sell them outside the theater. But Chicago has a stupid rule about scalping, you can't sell for more than face value.
However, Washington DC does not. I bought two tickets for my friend in DC, but she got her own before reading my email, so I'm gonna sell them on ebay. I bought the tickets for $10 each. There were preview showings last week, too, and single tickets went for over $250. If I get half of that for both together, I will be very happy. Some bastards are buying up tickets with the sole purpose of selling them. I hate them. I also hate people who went to the screening last week and are also going to this one. Selfish little geeks. Give someone else a chance, loser. Go watch Star Wars.

I can't wait to get into something new. I'm a bit impatient, waiting for septemer to roll around for school, I think I just need to get out more.. Or stay out more. Or something. See?! I'm clueless! I don't know, really, but I think I'm getting too antsy for new scenery.
You know what I need to get? SG stickers. I'd love sticking those things everywhere. And the boybeater. And alot of the other clothing they offer. Oh, indeedy.
Did you enjoy the rain today?
